Why crush on site?
The traditional way of handling existing hardcore and rubble by grubbing up, disposal, and then later import of crushed material is becoming more and more expensive. This is particularly true with the governments ongoing annual increase in landfill tax. There is also a growing drive by local planning authorities to limit the amount of material currently being taken off sites.

Our Crusher
Red Rhino 4000 Concrete Crusher
- Jaw Size - 400mm x 170mm.
- Output Size - 10mm to 70mm Instant Hydraulic adjustment.
- 3m long x 0.775m wide x 1.58m high. 1.42T weight.
- 2 Lt/Hr Diesel fuel requirement.
Our Red Rhino 4000 crusher is capable of crushing material up to 100N⁄mm² strength, which includes concrete, hardcore, paving stones, kerbstones, granite sets, marble, old asphalt, tiles etc. It is not really intended for heavy reinforced concrete, but it can deal with light rebar with the conveyor removed, which takes just 5-10 mins.
Throughput is greatly dependant upon the operator feeding it, and a constant steady feed will get better results than trying to stack material in the hopper. The machine jaws are reversible in order to free any jams that may occur.
Outputs of up to 6 tonnes per hour can be achieved.

Health and Safety
There are two emergency cut out switches, one at the front and one at the back. There is a fine nozzle water dust suppressor, if required, which needs a garden hose supply.
The machine is surprisingly quiet, having a noise rating of 50 db, which compares very favourably with petrol lawn mowers, which are generally rated at 90 db.
